Protect the load, the window and the temperature.
Chilled and ambient loads, booked delivery slots, refused deliveries and temperature evidence that has to hold up later. Finmile AI workers own the exception before the load is lost.
The work that sits between your systems.
Your systems know the business. Your people know how it actually runs. The gap between them is where the day goes.
What a slipped window costs today.
Your transport system knows the run. Your telematics knows the trailer. Your booking portal knows the slot. Your inbox knows what the depot said. When a window moves, a person has to hold all four in their head.
- Phone the distribution centre to ask for a later booking slot.
- Work out which drops are now at risk, and in what order.
- Chase the driver for a temperature reading by text.
- Tell the customer, the depot and the account manager separately.
- Rebuild the evidence trail weeks later when a claim arrives.
What Finmile owns instead.
Finmile is given the outcome: protect the load and the promise. It reads the change, retrieves the context, decides inside your policy and works the problem until the delivery is made or properly closed.
- Spot a slot, temperature or capacity risk as it appears.
- Retrieve the run, the trailer trace and the customer terms.
- Call the depot, the driver or the customer directly.
- Resequence, rebook or reassign the work.
- File the evidence against the consignment as it goes.
The workers on this job.
Each worker owns an outcome rather than a queue, and you decide what it may do on its own.
Cold Chain IntegrityAct on a temperature or equipment signal before the load is lost.
Rejection RecoveryResolve a refused or short delivery instead of logging it for later.
The loop it runs, every time.
Give Finmile an outcome. It does not stop at the recommendation, it finishes the job.
Understand
A booking slot moves, a trailer runs warm or a store refuses part of a drop. Finmile sees it as it happens.
Investigate
It pulls the run, the temperature trace, the customer terms and how this depot has behaved on previous deliveries.
Decide
It compares the options against the load at risk, the delivery promise and the authority it has been given.
Act
It rebooks the slot, calls the driver, resequences the run, tells the customer and writes the outcome back.
Follow through
It stays on the job until the delivery is completed or formally closed, with the evidence already filed.
Authority, evidence and audit.
Autonomous does not mean uncontrolled. Every worker runs inside boundaries you write and can change.
Food, beverage and cold chain questions.
Can Finmile detect and recover delivery problems in real time?
Yes. Finmile can receive live events from transport, telematics, warehouse or customer systems and start a recovery workflow immediately. The worker can assess the remaining delivery window, investigate the cause, contact the driver or carrier, select an authorised recovery, update the plan and continue monitoring. This allows the operation to act while the delivery can still be protected.
Can Finmile schedule and reschedule appointments automatically?
Yes. Finmile can coordinate availability across customers, drivers, technicians, carriers, depots and receiving sites. It can offer valid options, confirm the agreed slot, update every connected system and chase non-responses. If a delay or cancellation threatens the appointment, the worker can start recovery before the slot is lost.
Can Finmile respond to live events and real-time operational data?
Yes. Finmile can receive events such as missed milestones, delayed vehicles, failed scans, stock shortages, temperature alerts, missing documents and payment discrepancies. The worker can combine the event with live operational context and start the relevant workflow immediately instead of waiting for a report or manual review.
Can Finmile collect and validate PODs, invoices, photographs and other documents?
Yes. Finmile can detect when required evidence is missing, contact the responsible person, receive the document and associate it with the correct job or case. It can check references, signatures, dates, quantities and other required fields, then release the next process such as billing, settlement, claim review or compliance closure.
Can Finmile monitor compliance and prevent non-compliant work?
Yes. Finmile can continuously check documents, licences, insurance, training, process steps and required approvals. When it detects a problem, the worker can stop or restrict the affected work, request corrective evidence, validate the response and restore activity when the requirements are met. Ambiguous or regulated decisions can be escalated to the appropriate owner.
Two ways to deploy this.
Keep the stack your depots already run on, or run the execution layer on Finmile.
